Writing II
Now, write the same story. Take
help from these points. Use the past forms of the verbs.
Old
crane can no longer catch fish … starving … finds an idea … tells fish that
fisherman would come and catch them …....... fish asks crane to help them
............. takes them to another pond … will eat them … one day crab asks
the crane to take him to the other pond … crane agrees .. along the way crab
notices fish bones … asks the crane about the fish … crane said that he ate
them all …. crab kills the crane with his pincers.

There lived an old crane by the side of a pond. The crane could no longer
catch fish. It was starving and found an idea. He told the fish that fisherman
would come and catch them. When the fish heard so they asked the crane to help
them. The crane told them to take them to another pond. But he planned to eat
them on the way to other pond. One day a crab asked the crane to take him to
the other pond. The crane agreed and flew to the other pond with the crab. On
the way the crab noticed fish bones on a large rock and asked the crane about
the fish. The crane said that he ate them all. The crab snapped the crane’s head off with his pincers.

The Greedy Dog
There
was a dog that was very hungry. He searched for food everywhere and at last he
found a bone. He picked up the bone with his mouth and started going back to
his home. There was a bridge on the way to his home. When he started crossing
it he saw his reflection in the water. The dog thought that there was another
dog with a bone in the water. He wanted to get the other bone too. So, he started
barking at his own reflection. At the time his bone fell in water as soon as he
opened his mouth. The greedy dog lost his bone too.
